Vegetable Pretanned Merino Sheepskin from China
Fresh Merino sheepskin with wool on, preserved by salting and pretreated with vegetable tannins to initiate tanning without full tanning. Classified under HTS 4102.10.20.00 as vegetable pretanned sheep or lamb skins not further prepared, fitting chapter 41 exclusions for wool-on hides. Used primarily for high-quality leather production.
