Vanadium Pentoxide Catalyst from China
Vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) is the primary catalyst for sulfuric acid production via the contact process. It qualifies for HTS 3815.90.1000 as a wholly inorganic vanadium-based reaction accelerator. The catalyst operates at high temperatures to facilitate SO2 oxidation to SO3.

Import Tips
• Provide EPA registration or process description confirming use in contact process sulfuric acid production
• Include vanadium content certification (>98% V2O5) to meet wholly inorganic requirements
• Ensure packaging labels specify 'catalyst for reaction initiation' to prevent reagent classification
