Shock Tube Safety Fuse

A non-explosive plastic tube filled with reactive powder that transmits a low-energy shock wave to initiate detonators remotely. Though technically a signal tube, it's used interchangeably with safety fuses in mining under HTS 3603.10.00.00. Provides minimum run-up distance with high reliability.

Import Tips & Compliance

Differentiate from detonating cord via low-energy signal declaration to Customs

Require mine site end-user letters for commercial blasting verification

Color-coded tubes need matching documentation to prevent mix-ups during inspection
