Products classified under HTS 2616.10.00

Argentite Ore

Argentite (Ag2S) is a primary silver sulfide ore mined from hydrothermal veins, containing 87% silver by weight. It falls under HTS 2616.10.00 as a silver ore and concentrate used for precious metal extraction. The material is typically crushed and processed via flotation to recover silver concentrates.

Cerargyrite Silver Ore

Cerargyrite, or horn silver (AgCl), is a chloride silver ore found in oxidized zones of silver deposits with up to 75% silver content. Classified under HTS 2616.10.00 for silver ores and concentrates. It is crushed and leached for silver recovery in refining processes.

Native Silver Ore

Native silver ore consists of elemental silver grains embedded in gangue rock from epithermal deposits. It qualifies under HTS 2616.10.00 as unrefined silver-bearing material for concentrate production. Milled and gravity-separated to yield high-grade silver concentrates.

Proustite Silver Ore

Proustite (Ag3AsS3) is a silver sulfosalt ore from low-temperature veins, assaying around 60% silver. Falls under HTS 2616.10.00 as silver concentrate precursor. Flotation and roasting recover silver from arsenic-bearing matrix.

Chlorargyrite Concentrate

Flotation concentrate derived from chlorargyrite ore, enriched to 40-60% silver content for smelting. HTS 2616.10.00 covers such silver-bearing concentrates. Directly fed into cyanidation or smelting circuits.

Acantite Flotation Concentrate

Acantite (Ag2S) flotation concentrate from Mexican silver mines, grading 500-800 oz/ton silver. Classified HTS 2616.10.00 for silver concentrates. Shipped to custom smelters for matte production.

Polybasite Silver Ore

Polybasite ((Ag,Cu)16Sb2S11) is a complex silver copper ore from epithermal deposits with 50-70% Ag equivalent. HTS 2616.10.00 applies as silver-dominant ore. Processed via selective flotation.

Stephanite Concentrate

Stephanite (Ag12Sb4S13) silver-antimony concentrate produced by froth flotation, containing 60%+ silver. Under HTS 2616.10.00 for silver concentrates. Smelted to antimonial lead bullion.

Silver-Bearing Galena Ore

Galena (PbS) ore with 100-500 g/t silver from sedimentary deposits, co-mined for dual recovery. HTS 2616.10.00 when silver justifies principal classification. Differential flotation separates lead and silver.

Jarositic Silver Residue

Jarositic residue from zinc electrowinning containing recoverable silver (50-200 ppm) cemented for concentrate. Borderline HTS 2616.10.00 as silver-bearing processing residue. Returned to silver circuit.

Doré Ore Concentrate

Doré-grade silver-gold ore concentrate from refractory processing, 200-400 oz Ag/ton. HTS 2616.10.00 for silver-prevalent polymetallic concentrate. Pressure oxidized before cyanide leaching.

Bromargyrite Ore

Bromargyrite (AgBr) secondary silver ore from arid oxidation zones, 70% Ag content. HTS 2616.10.00 silver ores. Directly amenable to cyanide leaching without roasting.

Silver-Lead Flotation Tails

Flotation tailings reprocessed for residual silver (50 g/t) from lead circuits. HTS 2616.10.00 when silver recovery viable. Leached or retorted for final extraction.

Epithermal Silver Vein Ore

High-grade epithermal vein ore from Tertiary deposits, averaging 1,000 g/t Ag. Direct ship ore under HTS 2616.10.00. Small tonnage, high value shipments.

Cyanidation Silver Tailings

Tailings from silver cyanidation circuits with Merrill-Crowe precipitates recycled as concentrate. HTS 2616.10.00 silver recovery material. Contains 1-5% metallic silver cement.
