Flue-Cured Tobacco Stems

Flue-cured tobacco stems are the midribs and stalks removed from flue-cured tobacco leaves during processing, classified as tobacco refuse under HTS 2401.30.37.10. This refuse is threshed or similarly processed but remains unmanufactured, entered pursuant to U.S. Note 5 quota provisions for flue-cured types from eligible countries.

Flue-Cured Tobacco Dust

Fine particulate dust generated from threshing flue-cured tobacco leaves, considered tobacco refuse under HTS 2401.30.37.10. It is unmanufactured material entered under U.S. Note 5 quotas, often used in pipe tobacco or as filler.

Flue-Cured Tobacco Midrib Scraps

Scraps and fragments of midribs from flue-cured Virginia tobacco leaves post-threshing, classified as refuse in HTS 2401.30.37.10. Entered under quota provisions of U.S. Note 5 for use in low-grade blends or extracts.
