A ruby-style fortified Port wine from Douro Valley grapes, fortified to approximately 19.5% ABV by adding aguardente (grape brandy). Classified under HTS 2204.29.81.00 for other grape wines with fermentation arrested by alcohol, over 14% vol. Its vibrant fruit flavors distinguish it from aged tawny ports.
