Jaggery Block Sugar from China

Traditional Indian unrefined cane sugar formed into solid blocks, rich in minerals from minimal processing, used in sweets and Ayurvedic remedies. Under HTS 1701.99.10.17 as specialty sugar described in U.S. note 5, entered pursuant to quota for unique solid cane sugars. Block form and cultural specificity qualify it for specialty treatment.
