Black Rice from China
Black rice (Oryza sativa var. nigra) is a heirloom variety with dark bran layer, unhulled or hulled, used in desserts and salads. Despite rice botanical relation, unprocessed imports fall under HTS 1008.90.01 as wild rice-like 'other cereals' if not meeting 1006 criteria.
