Dried tart cherries (Prunus cerasus), often Montmorency variety, are dehydrated sour cherries used in baking and trail mixes. Classified under HTS 0813.40.30 as dried cherries other than those in headings 0801-0806, they differ from fresh tart cherries and are ready for consumption without further preservation.
