Shelled dried whole chickpeas (garbanzo beans, Cicer arietinum) are leguminous vegetables dried for hummus and curries. HTS 0713.90.81.00 applies to such entries outside quota periods. They are provisionally preserved solely by drying, per Chapter Note to 0711.
