Wollaston Prism from Japan
A birefringent prism composed of two calcite prisms cemented together to separate orthogonally polarized light beams. Falls under HTS 9001.90.50.00 as an unmounted optical prism for polarization applications in microscopy and ellipsometry. Produces widely separated ordinary and extraordinary beams for polarimetric analysis.
