High-voltage ceramic bushing insulators used in electrical transformers and switchgear, made entirely of insulating ceramic material with minor metal threaded inserts for assembly. These fittings provide electrical insulation between conductors and grounded metal parts. Classified under HTS 8547.10.80.00 as other ceramic insulating fittings apart from heading 8546 insulators.
