PTC Thermistor Heating Resistor from Germany
Positive temperature coefficient ceramic disc that self-regulates heat output, used in hair straighteners, coffee makers, and automotive seat heaters. Under HTS 8516.80.8000 as other domestic heating resistors; PTCs increase resistance with temperature unlike fixed resistors of 8545. Self-limits to 240°C preventing overheating.
