CRGO Steel Laminations for Distribution Transformer Cores from Japan
Cold-rolled grain-oriented (CRGO) electrical steel laminations cut to precise shapes for stacking into distribution transformer cores. The grain orientation minimizes core losses in 50/60 Hz applications. HTS 8504.90.96.34 applies to these transformer-specific stacked core laminations.

Import Tips
• Include technical drawings showing lamination stacking pattern and transformer core design
• Document core loss specifications (W/kg) to substantiate electrical steel grade classification
• Avoid common pitfall of classifying as general steel by emphasizing transformer end-use
