E308L Stainless Steel Coated Welding Electrode from Japan

E308L electrodes consist of stainless steel wire coated with flux for electric arc-welding austenitic stainless steels in food processing and chemical equipment. They provide corrosion-resistant welds with low carbon content. HTS 8311.10.00.00 covers these as base metal (iron-based alloy) coated electrodes for arc-welding.

Import Tips

Certify alloy composition (e.g

19% Cr, 10% Ni) via mill test reports to support base metal electrode status

Declare intended use as arc-welding to prevent confusion with soldering products
