Products classified under HTS 8112.13.00.00

Beryllium Machining Scrap

Waste generated from machining beryllium parts in aerospace manufacturing, consisting of shavings, turnings, and small chips primarily of beryllium metal. Classified under HTS 8112.13.00.00 as waste and scrap of beryllium, distinct from unwrought or wrought forms in other headings. Purity typically exceeds 99% beryllium content.

Beryllium Grinding Swarf

Fine particles and sludge from grinding beryllium components used in nuclear applications, classified as beryllium waste and scrap under HTS 8112.13.00.00. This wet or dry swarf requires special handling due to toxicity.

Beryllium Tooling Scrap

Discarded fragments from beryllium dies and tools used in electronics fabrication, falling under HTS 8112.13.00.00 as beryllium waste and scrap. Not suitable for remanufacture without refining.

Beryllium Precision Parts Scrap

Rejected or obsolete beryllium components from satellite and optics manufacturing, categorized as waste and scrap under HTS 8112.13.00.00. High purity but irregular shapes unfit for direct use.

Beryllium Heat Treatment Scrap

Scale, oxide, and trimmings from annealing beryllium alloys in high-tech furnace operations, under HTS 8112.13.00.00 for beryllium scrap. Often oxidized but recoverable.

Beryllium EDM Wire Scrap

Spent wire electrodes from electrical discharge machining of beryllium molds, classified as beryllium waste under HTS 8112.13.00.00. Fine, tangled remnants.

Beryllium Laser Cutting Scrap

Kerf and edge trimmings from laser-cut beryllium sheets for defense applications, under HTS 8112.13.00.00. Clean cuts with minimal contamination.

Beryllium Waterjet Scrap

Wet slurry waste from abrasive waterjet cutting of beryllium components, HTS 8112.13.00.00 beryllium scrap. Includes garnet abrasive mix but beryllium dominant.

Beryllium Prototype Scrap

Discarded test pieces from R&D prototyping of beryllium structures, waste under HTS 8112.13.00.00. Irregular shapes from iterative development.

Beryllium Stampings Scrap

Punched-out skeletons from stamping beryllium foil for electronics, classified HTS 8112.13.00.00 scrap. Thin, flat waste sheets.
