Commercially Pure Titanium Ingots CP-2 from China

CP-2 commercially pure titanium ingots are unwrought forms with minimal interstitial impurities, produced by electron beam melting for corrosion-resistant uses. Under HTS 8108.20.0030, they qualify as unwrought ingots due to their cast, unworked state and titanium-dominant composition. Common in chemical processing equipment and marine hardware.

Import Tips

Include ASTM B265 or AMS 4921 certifications to prove grade and unwrought status during CBP examination

Avoid common pitfall of declaring as 'billet' which implies semi-finishing; use 'ingot' for cast forms only

For alloyed variants, ensure titanium >99% or highest element per Chapter notes to stay in 8108
