Aluminum Vanadium Master Alloy VAl60 from Mexico
This master alloy contains approximately 60% vanadium and the balance primarily aluminum, used to introduce vanadium into aluminum melts for titanium alloy production. It qualifies as an aluminum alloy under HTS 7601.20 because aluminum predominates by weight and the vanadium content exceeds alloying thresholds in chapter notes. Supplied in ingot or waffle form for metallurgical addition.
