15.2 mm Low Relaxation Steel Strand from Japan
A 15.2 mm diameter prestressing steel strand with low relaxation properties, made from seven high-carbon steel wires, used to induce compressive stress in concrete beams and slabs. Classified under HTS 7312.10.3012 as 'other' stranded wire for prestressing concrete, not electrically insulated, fitting the chapter definition of wire under 16 mm cross-section. Its compact stranding provides exceptional bond with concrete grout.

Import Tips
• Specify 'low relaxation' type (relaxation ≤2.5% at 1000 hours) in documentation; ensure strand weighs over 2.5 kg/m to qualify for prestressing specs; check country-of-origin markings as some producers face special tariffs
