Round cross-section wire of low-alloy case-hardening steel (AISI 8620), diameter 2.5 mm, for gears and pinions in automotive transmissions. HTS 7229.90.50.51 covers this as other alloy steel round wire ≥1.5 mm, not qualifying as razor blade or chipper knife steel. Provided in annealed condition for cold forming.
