A2 Tool Steel Square Rod from Germany
Square cross-section rod of A2 tool steel, an air-hardening grade with 1% carbon and 5% chromium qualifying as tool steel per U.S. note (e)(ii). Commonly used for shear blades, punches, and forming dies due to abrasion resistance. HTS 7228.60.10 covers such other tool steel rods not high-speed.
