AISI 4140 Alloy Steel Ingot from Japan
A 500 kg ingot of AISI 4140 chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, used as primary form for forging into shafts and gears. Classified under HTS 7224.10.0075 as an ingot of other alloy steel not meeting specific high-strength or tool steel definitions in chapter notes. It contains approximately 0.4% carbon, 1% chromium, and 0.2% molybdenum.
