C85 Spring Temper Wire from Japan
C85 grade nonalloy steel wire (0.82-0.90% carbon) in spring temper, used for small mechanical springs, clips, and retaining rings. HTS 7217.90.50.90 applies to this high-carbon (>0.6%) wire not further worked, distinguished by its heat-treated tensile properties. Delivers high fatigue resistance for precision components.

Import Tips
• Document heat treatment condition (spring temper, 2300-2500 MPa) and exact C content; temper affects value declaration
• Ensure no oil coating beyond drawing lubricant
• Pitfall: declaring pre-coiled springs instead of straight wire shifts to 7320
