Forged 1.5-inch diameter round bar of W1 water-hardening tool steel with 0.80-1.00% carbon, hot-rolled finish without further working. HTS 7214.99.0045 applies to these nonalloy high-carbon rounds not meeting alloy tool steel notes. Used for dies, chisels, and blades.
