SAE 1080 Tire Cord-Quality Steel Wire Rod from Germany

Hot-rolled steel wire rod in irregularly wound coils, of circular cross section under 14 mm diameter, specifically manufactured to high tensile strength standards for tire cord production as defined in statistical note 5 to chapter 72. This nonalloy steel product is not tempered, treated, or partly manufactured, making it ideal for drawing into fine filaments used in radial tire reinforcement. Its precise chemistry and microstructure ensure superior fatigue resistance in tire applications.
