SAE 12L14 Lead-Bearing Free-Cutting Steel Coil from Mexico
SAE 12L14 grade hot-rolled steel in irregularly wound coils, a classic free-cutting steel under HTS 7213.20.00.10 with 0.15-0.35% lead by weight for superior machinability. Widely used for producing precision shafts and fittings requiring excellent surface finish and short chip formation. The resulfurized and leaded composition distinguishes it from standard carbon steels.
