Advanced High-Strength Galvanized Automotive Steel Sheet from Japan
Flat-rolled nonalloy steel sheet, over 600 mm wide, zinc-coated and classified as high-strength steel with minimum yield point of 355 MPa for thicknesses 3 mm or more. It falls under HTS 7210.49.0040 as 'advanced' or 'ultra' high-strength steel per statistical note 4 to chapter 72. Used primarily in vehicle body structures for enhanced crash performance.

Import Tips
• Certify minimum yield strength (355 MPa for ≥3mm thick) with mill test reports to qualify as high-strength steel
• Provide detailed coating specs (zinc plating thickness, type like hot-dip or electro) in entry documentation
• Avoid misclassification as standard galvanized steel (7210.41) by including statistical note 4 verification
