Terne-Coated Steel for Oil Can Linings from Japan
Flat-rolled nonalloy steel sheets exceeding 600 mm width, terne-coated with lead-tin alloy for lining oil and grease containers. Classified in HTS 7210.20.00.00 for its lead-inclusive plating, which prevents product-metal reactions and leakage. Historically used in food-grade oil packaging.
