Electrolytic Tinplate for Beverage Cans from Canada
Flat-rolled nonalloy steel sheet, 0.6 mm thick and 1,000 mm wide, coated with electrolytic tin on both sides for corrosion resistance. Classified under HTS 7210.11.00.00 as tin-plated steel of 0.5 mm or more thickness, width over 600 mm. The tin plating protects the steel from oxidation during food and beverage canning.
