S-Glass chopped strand mat is a non-woven fabric made from chopped S-glass fibers (high-strength silica-alumina glass) bonded with binder, used for hand lay-up in marine composites. Classified under HTS 7019.19.91.00 as 'other' mats of glass fibers. It provides isotropic reinforcement in laminates.
