Stitch-bonded mats secure layers of chopped glass fibers using mechanical stitching with polyester yarn, forming a flexible reinforcement sheet. Under HTS 7019.14.00.00 as mechanically bonded mats thereof, used in wind energy blades and boatbuilding. The stitching provides integrity without resins.
