Silicon Carbide Refractory Tile from China

Silicon carbide refractory tiles are high-fired ceramic tiles with exceptional wear resistance for use in blast furnace hearths and incinerators. They offer high thermal conductivity and resistance to abrasion. Classified in HTS 6902.90.50.20 as other refractory ceramic constructional tiles, excluding siliceous fossil meals.

Import Tips

Provide firing certificates demonstrating temperatures >800°C to distinguish from unfired or resin-cured products

Document tile thickness (<3.2 cm) if applicable, though refractory tiles often exceed this for structural use

Avoid common pitfall of classifying as abrasives (6804) by emphasizing constructional refractory end-use
