Silico-aluminous refractory bricks blend silica and alumina for use in blast furnace hearths and checker chambers, fired to achieve low porosity and high strength. They resist slag corrosion and thermal cycling in metallurgical applications. Fits HTS 6902.90.10.20 as 'other' refractory bricks excluding siliceous fossil meal types.
