Balsa (Ochroma pyramidale) wood sawn into 1x12 wide planks, lightly sanded, thickness exceeding 6 mm for model-making and core materials. HTS 4407.22.0091 covers this 'other' tropical sawn wood, differentiated from unsawn logs by lengthwise sawing process. Extremely lightweight properties make it ideal for aerospace composites and hobby models.
