Aspen Pulpwood Rounds from Germany
Unprocessed round bolts of quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides) harvested for pulpwood, debarked and cut to standard pulp lengths of 42-52 inches. Ideal for kraft pulp production in papermaking due to aspen's high cellulose content and low density. Falls under HTS 4403.97.0022 as rough poplar/aspen pulpwood.

Import Tips
• Include commercial invoice specifying 'pulpwood' end-use and Populus species to avoid scrutiny as general logs
• Check for CITES restrictions if hybrid poplars involved; standard aspen/poplar typically unrestricted
• Bundle logs securely with non-wood materials to prevent damage and ensure weight declarations match manifests
