Polychloroprene Latex from China
Polychloroprene latex is an aqueous dispersion of chloroprene rubber polymers in primary form, elastomeric under HTS 3904.90.1000 for use in adhesives and dipped goods. It qualifies as the chloroprene monomer units contribute over 95% by weight of the polymer content. Primarily imported in drums for industrial compounding.

Import Tips
• Include stability test data in documentation to prove primary latex form, not compounded product
• Check for hazardous material declarations due to flammable solvents in some latex formulations
• Avoid misclassification by specifying dry polymer content meets 95% chloroprene threshold
