Coconut fatty acid distillate is recovered from coconut oil deodorizer distillates through stripping, yielding high lauric acid content for industrial soaps and cosmetics intermediates. Though coconut-specific, excess purity places it in 'other' category. HTS 3823.19.4000 applies to such industrial monocarboxylic acids.
