Acacia catechu, or cutch, tannin powder is extracted from the heartwood of Acacia catechu trees, valued for its dark tannins in leather tanning and ink production. It is covered by HTS 3201.90.50.00 as other vegetable tanning extracts. This natural product imparts rich brown tones to leathers.
