Flake-form tannic acid with 55% content from vegetable tannins, primarily used in leather processing for its protein-fixing properties. HTS 3201.90.10.00 applies to such high-purity vegetable tanning extracts exceeding 50% tannic acid. Excluded are tannin derivatives of other chapters per legal notes.
