SoilBalans combines ammonium nitrate with ground chalk (calcium carbonate) to supply nitrogen and neutralize acidic soils. It qualifies for HTS 3102.40.00.00 under note 2(c) as ammonium nitrate mixed with nonfertilizing inorganic chalk. Commonly used in crop production on acidic farmlands.
