Furfuryl alcohol contains an unfused furan ring with a hydroxymethyl substituent and oxygen hetero-atom only, used in foundry resins and polymers. HTS 2932.19.51.00 applies as hydrogenated-capable furan 'other' compound. Excludes alcoholates per Chapter 29 note (D).
