Valeronitrile (Pentanenitrile) from China
Pentanenitrile (CH3(CH2)3CN) is a straight-chain aliphatic nitrile used in lubricant additives and organic synthesis. HTS 2926.90.5050 covers this other nitrile-function compound as chemically defined organic in Chapter 29. Boiling point around 141°C makes it useful as high-temp solvent.
