Phenylephrine Hydrochloride from Japan
Phenylephrine HCl, an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist and aromatic amino-alcohol salt, is widely used as a nasal decongestant and mydriatic drug. HTS 2922.19.0900 applies to this oxygen-function amino-compound due to its phenolic OH and beta-hydroxy phenethylamine structure. Common in OTC and prescription pharmaceuticals.
