Erucic acid (C22:1) is a mono-unsaturated acyclic monocarboxylic acid with a 22-carbon chain and double bond at position 13. It meets Chapter 29 criteria for unsaturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids under HTS 2916.19.30.00. Used in lubricants, plastics, and formerly in edible oils.
