Industrial grade n-butanal (normal butyraldehyde) is supplied at 97-99% purity for large-scale production of plasticizers and rubber accelerators. Classified under HTS 2912.19.25.00 as the specific normal isomer of butanal, an acyclic aldehyde without other oxygen functions. Stabilizers may be added solely for preservation per Chapter 29 note (f).
