• Submit polymerization inhibitor certificates and peroxide value test results (<50 ppm) to Customs for verification
• Use stainless steel tankers only; carbon steel contamination causes classification disputes and polymerization risks
• Pre-clear with FDA if eventual polystyrene contacts food, even though styrene itself is bulk chemical
