Diisobutylene (2,4,4-trimethylpentene isomers) results from isobutylene dimerization in petroleum processing. Classified HTS 2901.29.1050 as petroleum-derived unsaturated acyclic C8 hydrocarbon mixture of defined isomers. Used in antioxidants, lube additives, and fuel detergents.
