Calcium Aluminate Cement from China
Calcium aluminate cement, primarily 11CaO·7Al2O3 and 12CaO·7Al2O3 phases, is a hydraulic binder for high-temperature refractory applications. It qualifies as aluminates under HTS 2841.90.40.00 as salts of peroxometallic acids of aluminum. Supplied as fine powder for casting refractory linings.
