Tungsten Pentachloride from Japan
Tungsten pentachloride (WCl5) is a dark-green crystalline compound employed as a catalyst in olefin polymerization and chlorination reactions. Classified under HTS 2827.39.40.00 as other chlorides of tungsten. It hydrolyzes readily in air forming oxychlorides.
