Vanadyl sulfate (VOSO4) is a blue crystalline compound used in analytical chemistry as a reducing agent and in vanadium redox flow batteries. Though a salt, it contains vanadium oxide hydrate equivalents and is imported under HTS 2825.30.00 for hydroxides. It provides vanadium in +4 oxidation state solutions.
